Prada & Anne

I became aware of MADACC after our 18 year old cat got out for a few days and I was searching for him! I began following MADACC on social media and one day a picture of this gorgeous, goofy pit bull puppy showed up and there was something in her eyes that said she needed to come home with me!

I called to set up meeting with her and of course fell instantly in love… little did I know the future that awaited us. Adopting Prada opened up a whole new world to me and I began volunteering at MADACC, which led to joining the board of Friends of MADACC as the outreach/education co-chair and training with Prada to become our ambassador dog who accompanied me to schools, community groups and public events teaching kids how to interact with animals. Her incredibly calm demeanor immediately puts everyone who meets her to ease and those who have previously been afraid or hesitant are petting her and receiving kisses!

I can’t ever thank MADACC enough for my precious girl and the amazing journey she has taken me on.

Frank & Stacey

My husband, RJ, and I adopted Frank in August of 2015. Our boxer passed away in April and we wanted a second dog to be a companion dog for our other MADACC alum, Honey, who we adopted in March of 2014. We loved Honey so much we decided to get another pit bull. Frank was a good fit with Honey and with us. He is a very friendly happy dog who loves everyone he meets either people or other dogs. He loves to chase balls, go for walks, swim and go to doggy daycare.

Our only complaint is that he’s a total bed hog. We’re happy he found his forever home with us.
